During my sophomore year of Bible college the Lord made the calling of evangelism clear to me. After I graduated, I became a representative and staff evangelist for the Bill Rice Ranch. Throughout this time I spent the summers and some of the retreat season helping with the camp program. The rest of my time was used for traveling to churches to present the ministry of the Ranch. This provided not only a means to present the ministry, but also the privilege to preach. I had many opportunities to do the work of the evangelist, and the training under the Ranch has proven to be invaluable.
February of 1998 marked our first month in full-time evangelism, while maintaining the Ranch as the base of our ministry. Our emphasis and ministry moved from single services to extended revival services in churches. At this time we had one child and traveled in a mini-van.
God blessed us in 1999 in many ways. He provided a truck and trailer to travel in to our meetings. Shortly after we received the truck and trailer we moved out of our apartment and made the trailer our full time home. The Lord continued to provide more revivals than our first year in full time evangelism.
Since starting in full-time evangelism independently the Lord has allowed us to see hundreds of people trust Christ as Savior, a number of dedication decisions, and several other decisions concerning Christian living. Up to date we have conducted evangelistic services in 25 states.
We give all the praise and glory to God for using us in the ministry of evangelism. We are eager to see what God has for us in the future. More than ever we have burden for revival and evangelism!
